TERMS OF SERVICE

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using ScrumPilot, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the product. These terms apply to all users including team members, administrators, and visitors.

2. ACCEPTABLE USE

You may use ScrumPilot only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the service to record meetings without participant consent where required by law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the service
• Share your account credentials or allow unauthorised access
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations while using the service

3. SUBSCRIPTION TERMS

ScrumPilot offers a 14-day free trial followed by paid subscription plans. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

In the event of payment failure, we will notify the Organisation Admin and provide a 7-day grace period before restricting access to read-only mode.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

ScrumPilot and all related trademarks, software, and content are owned by ScrumPilot. You retain ownership of all content you submit, including meeting transcripts, action items, and decisions. You grant ScrumPilot a limited licence to process this content to deliver the service.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

ScrumPilot is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for direct damages is limited to the amount paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

6. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.

7. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

8. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to Organisation Admins at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
